Neurontin (gabapentin) - Answers-For "nerve pain" of shingles, sciatica, and nerve
problems like peripheral neuropathy in the legs, feet, and hands.

Coumadin (warfarin) - Answers-Anticoagulant that slows clotting and is frequently called
a "blood thinner". Used for many things: following surgery, irregular heartbeat (atrial
fibrillation and others), heart attack, etc.

Ativan (lorazepam) - Answers-Antianxiety given for anxiety

Lasix (furosemide) - Answers-Loop diuretic used for: edema and/or hypertension (HTN)
which is high blood pressure. Often given with an antihypertensive drug. It is potassium
depleting so patient must also take a potassium supplement.

Aldactone (spironolactone) - Answers-Potassium-sparing diuretic which does not allow

60 beats per minute
