What is a pathway - -A pathway is a FLOWCHART which is used to access
the patients symptoms, it's presented in a user friendly way
-What is body map area - -Areas of the body that can be clicked to access a
range of pathways
-What is typically known as nettle rash - -Uritria (hives)
-What are 7 reasons for early exit - -1. EMERGENCY - Unconscious, Fitting
Or Choking
2. The phone line went dead
3. The ambulance crew arrived before the assessment has been completed
4. Transfer to a clinician
5. I have terminated the call or the caller has terminated the call
6. Triage Not Possible
7. The caller decided no further advice was needed

The caller couldnt give adequate information in relation to the main
symptoms
Caller refuse's disposition
Complex call
If the caller is feeling out of their depth with the call
If the call can not give adequate information about symptoms
Medical procedure or medication
-If somebody says "I've hurt my back" what 2 factors do you need to
establish - -If it is an illness or injury, when did the pain occur.
-List 4 in house clinician dispositions - -A clinician from our service will
contact you immediately, within 30 minutes, within 2 hour, within 4 hours.
-What are the four elements contained within general worsening care advice
- -Any new symptoms, worsening, changes or any further concerns.
-What is interim care advice? - -Advice to help the caller or patient manage
their problem until further assessment and/or care is received
-Home management can only be given by non clinical call handlers when? -
-For cold and flu symptoms only
