Where did the research take place? What is the population? (Charlton et al's study) ANSWER St. Helena - approx. 5000 Who were the sample? (Charlton et al's study) ANSWER Approx. 160 school children. How, where, and when was their behaviour recorded? (Charlton et al's study) ANSWER Via video recordings, with cameras set up in the school playground, in 1994 before the introduction of TV and then in 2000, after TV was introduced. What was the overall finding on the impact of TV on levels of anti-social behaviour?(Charlton et al's study) ANSWER TV had little influence on the behaviour of the children, and did not lead to an increase in anti-social behaviour.
