For example, bacterial pathogenesis is the mechanism by which bacteria cause infectious illness. -Clinical manifestations -A perceptible, outward, or visible expression (as of a disease or abnormal condition) -can be either objective when observed by a physician, or subjective when perceived by the patient -Diagnosis -Identification of a disease or condition by a scientific evaluation of physical signs, symptoms, history, laboratory tests, or results. (Clinical diagnosis, physical diagnosis, differential diagnosis, nursing diagnosis, laboratory diagnosis) o -Etiology -The study of all factors that may be involved in the development of a disease including the susceptibility of a patient, the nature of the disease agent, and the way in which the patient’s body was invaded
