Introduction
The internet is widely used for various types of business activities and gives
companies a lot perks can assist them in order to grow and be successful. There are
things such as business research, backing up data, promotion and the internet.
These are four activities I will talk through, explain how to use and also show how it
can benefit businesses and why.
Findings
Business Research
Search engines are extremely useful ways for online businesses to find research
online if you know how to use one properly. When using a search engine such a
Google for example, there are a couple of steps and things you need to keep in
mind:
1. Follow a ‘SM’ search term (Specific and Measureable)
2. After searching for the results, read it and if the data shown is the data you
actually looked for. (Accuracy)
3. If it is correct, check if the source is reliable. Most likely reliable sources are things
such as;
Government Statistics
University Reports
Research Organisations
Sources that are absolutely not reliable are organisations like:
Business selling something I the area of the information give (they will try and
make the information look positive towards the product/services they are
selling or dealing with.
