Evaluate the management of a business event
making recommendations for future
improvements
1.0 Terms of reference
1.1 On the Monday 4th of December , ……asked me to create a report about
my team’s event management.In these aspect is included the way we planned
and managed the event , the event results and also what recommendations
could we make for future improvements.As a result my team’s event was a
success as we managed to raise £70.96 for Age Uk charity.
2.0 Procedure
2.1 In order to write this report I will use the following information:

• Evaluating presentation
In fact by using that information I could say that our event was successful as
almost everything went as planned.
3.0 Findings
3.1 Teamwork
Teamwork is an important aspect when managing an event as based on the
ways that the team work together we could decide either the event was
successful or not.In addition , in order to function successfully in a small group
of four, our group needed to be able to communicate clearly on intellectual
and emotional levels which is the key skill learnt from past experiences.In fact
our event was successful because our team was joint together and managed to
work well within the team by avoiding conflicts and misunderstandings. As a
team we were organised as we finished everything on time without having any
delays.Also , I could say that we worked well in a team as we had everything
prepared by having group meetings where we decided the task equally and
tried to resolve all the risen problems.To conclude as a team we were perfect in
terms of everything : planning, working , managing and deciding.
3.2 Research
In terms of research I could state that our team has a good research but not an
excellent due to the fact that our team was too busy with college curriculum
which made us to limit our research methods.In fact we did a quick research.In
order to find out the location of our event we made a quick research by going
around the college and investigating were is the most busy therefore we could
have the most customers.So that we come to the decision to run our event in
Uxbridge college on the main Exit hall were the number of attendees with be
higher that other places.As a result our expectation was right.In terms of
budget research we didn’t do to much as we didn’t have time.We just predicted
to spend around £15.00 however we spend a bit more witch was £20.00.In
addition in terms of which products to sell , we did a tight research which
involved looking on the internet and questioning what students prefer the most
