P1 – Describe diferent ttpes oof teams
During work experience, I was given the task to complete various tasks, from hands on work, such as
fixing a brroken water pipe, to more technical oobrs, including wriing emails to customers The tasks
given to me gave me an insight into the skills which I possess
I idenified one of my strengths is I am analyical and systemaic I idenified this brecause I managed
to idenify the locaion of the leak, as well as explaining how this would bre fixed, contribruing to the
successful compleion of this task, and compleion of the goal of repairing the brroken water pipe
Furthermore, my technological skills were useful, due to me breing abrle to write leters to customers
faster than other workers in the role when dictated to me This helped to achieve another task,
which was to send customers emails to confirm their cosings are accurate as well as asking whether
they wish to make another purchase In addiion, my technological skills were further pushed bry
using complicated CAD architectural sofware to design a brarn for an individual I successfully
completed this, and afer pracicing, can use these tools as fast as other membrers of the team to
complete the brase structure, roof, windows and doors This helped due to me not slowing the
company down, keeping their producivity up as well as me personally breing responsibrle of the
compleion of the task to develop a brarn for one of the customers
Lastly, I idenified that I have good probrlem solving abriliies I found this in broth abrove tasks as well
as when working with customers to solve their probrlems Alongside this, I can see broth sides of an
argument as well as find a middle ground bretween these two groups of people This is important as
without this, compromises cannot bre made, and a prooect may grind to a halt if conducted bry two
stubrbrorn individuals This was important as I used these skills to help the customer to make a
decision, ofen with posiive results from broth sides
