What are the different runway light colors and what to they signify. - White - Edge of main part of runway Amber - hold short, Blue - Edge of Taxiway Red - Stop Bars, Green - Center of Taxiways What is your heading, ground speed, time enroute, and burn for the first leg of your cross-country? - tbd What is the white square around MSP? - Signifies it has its own Terminal Chart What is the 30mm arc around MSP? - Transponder required. Can We fly over MSP Without a transponder? - No, their airspace is from the surface up to 10,000 ft Can We fly into Lake Elmo without talking to ATC? Do We need a transponder? - Yes, below 4000 MSL but we do need a transponderRegardless of Where you are, you need a transponder above what altitude? - Above 10,000 ft except in Alaska. What airspace do we have at Eau Claire starting at the surface? - Class D What are the minimum Weather requirements for VFR flight into Eau Claire? - 3 miles vis, 500 ft below, 1000 ft above, and 2000ft horizontal clear of clouds. If there is an 800ft ceiling and 10 miles visibility in Eau Claire, can We land or takeoff VFR at Eau Claire? If so how and/Who would We call for permission? - Yes with a special VFR granted by tower or ATC What airspace is at Green Bay? - Class C Can we fly over Green Bay Without talking to anybody? Without a transponder? - Yes, above 4700 MSL What airspace is located at Central Wisconsin? Do We need a transponder to fly in or over the airspace? - Class G airspace, no transponder required. What are the altitudes of use for the Falls 1 MOA? -500 FT AGL up to but not including 18000 FT MSL What airspace is at Medford Wisconsin? - Class E What airspace is at Prentice Wisconsin? - Class G
