Farsightedness (hyperopia) -A vision condition in which you only see distant objects clearly. Glaucoma (GL) -The disease in which the fluid pressure in the eyeball increases and damages the optic nerve. This damage can cause severe vision loss and even blindness, if untreated. Open Angle Glaucoma (OAG) -When the eyes drainage angle is wide enough for fluid to reach the drainage holes, but the holes themselves are clogged. When fluid can't drain out of the eye, pressure in the eye slowly rises. This leads to optic nerve damage and vision loss. It seldom causes pain or other symptoms. Side vision slowly worsens over the years. Often, damage has spread to central vision before it's noticed. Closed Angle Glaucoma -When the iris blocks the drainage holes, closing the drainage angle.
