1. What is the fundamental difference between the method you have chosen (either the case-control or cohort method) and the randomized controlled trial? I choose a case-control study to compare to a randomized controlled trial. I did this because, even though randomized is probably the best to do, I believe that if we determine that exposures to certain diseases or pathogens can lead to a disease process and intervention to save a life. Not saying that randomized can’t, Randomized control trial was not an option for me to choose. Out of the two given, case-control study versus cohort study, I choose case-control.
