Summary MT302 Organizational Behavior
MT302 Organizational Behavior Recently, Frameit Inc., a manufacturer of frames, has had some problems with quality control. Automated quality control methods at the corporation are rejecting finished goods as 03:10:42 GMT -05:00 they exit the production line. Maria, a worker on the manufacturing line, had brought up this problem with management a week earlier, but it had been disregarded. Now that the problem has become worse and top management has been informed, the workers on the manufacturing line have been reprimanded. The initial employee who informed management of the vendor acrylic issue is now being held personally accountable, putting her employment in danger due to a "lack of communication." The production crew and management are dissatisfied due to an insufficient leadership style and an incomplete communication approach. James, the production manager is not being a leader and leading his employee’s. "Just because an organization gives its managers certain responsibilities, does not mean that they will lead effectively," contends organizational behavior (Robbins, Judge 2018). James was not too concerned about what Maria had to say in the meeting they had last week which turned out to be a crucial point about an issue with the new acrylic that was being used. James was too busy wanting to get thru his list he had for the meeting.
