A vehicle is brought in with a bent subframe. Technician A says to section the subframe. Technician B says the subframe should not be repaired and must be replaced. Who is right? It is typically a bolt-on part that does not lend itself to traditional straightening methods. Vehicle manufacturers recommend replacement.
