, B.P3 Produce designs for a mobile app to meet identified requirements
Meeting user requirements:
➢ The users wanted an application that was easy to navigate that incorporated
clear icons to go to the desired location of the app.

APP TO REACH REQUIREMENTS
➢ The platform for the app will be on the two platforms which are IOS and Android but I will
be testing it on Android as I don’t have the means to test it on IOS.
➢ The Stanmore college app is utilizing a flyout style to the pages of the app.
➢ There will be buttons that allow users to go to different pages once they click it making
the app easy to navigate.
➢ Features such as scrollview which allows the user to scroll horizontally or vertically to see
more of the page which have been implemented on the menu and timetable pages.
➢ The features on the pages will need to be understood so the use of comments have also
been incorporated.
➢ Every page on the Stanmore college app has its own purpose for example the sign in
page should have a button to sign in and register

TO IMPROVE ON THE DESIGN OF THE APP
➢ The design I made was all on Adobe XD for the Stanmore college app
➢ The feedback I received was that I didn’t need the small icons at the bottom of my
screen to navigate to different pages and that it wasn’t necessary as they could
navigate using the buttons and the flyout menu.
➢ This improvement made the design of the app a lot more intuitive and removed
unneeded features.
The way I achieved this is by fixing the positioning of my icons on the app and by
implementing scroll view on the timetable pages to make it in one page rather than 3
separate pages.
➢ It was recommended to incorporate the Stanmore college logo at the top of every
page and to include some pictures of the college to make it look like a college
app.
➢ The advantages of this is it makes it visually appealing and of a good standard for
the college app
