Explain the different stages of team formation.
Introduction
The introduction stage is very important as it is a the best and quickest way of getting everyone to
know each other because if they don’t know each other they won’t have the benefit of being in a
team. In an organisation they carry out the introduction through activities such as fun and
interactive games where they each need to know one another to work as a team in order to win the
game plus this gets rid of the awkwardness of not knowing anyone in a team.
Motivation of team members
Once everyone gets to know each other it is important to make sure that everyone is motivated

effort to do anything. The best way to motivate them is by setting targets and whoever is able to
meet those targets will gain a reward.
