CYB-210 Module 7 Project Two

CYB-210 Module 7 Project Two. This project was a little more tricker than the other one. With this project we were given 3 networks. Networks A and B needed to be connected into one with a new network scheme. Network 3 and the new network needed to be connected together. With this being said I added a third switch to account for future expansion. I kept the two switches we were given for subnet 1 and 2 and added a third to connect the networks to that switch and then into the router. Doing this if the company makes more room in their building for the other company the network will be able to handle more users or endpoints. With these switches I switched a few ports into trunk mode so this can be done. I did not want to keep adding more cables out of the router and make it messy. Second, I connected the two networks together using a serial cable. This is not something I would do as depending on what you have going across the network it may slow it down. I added static routes and RIP. I combined to two networks by creating a new network just between the two routers. After this I set up a DHCP server and DNS server on each network and added a scope into the DHCP for users with a range blocked off and a max number of users. After all of this I tested a ping within a network and then to the other networks. Everything was successful.
