In this report I will be writing about two contrasting business and describe what type of business they are. In this report I will be writing about two contrasting business and describe what type of
business they are. In the terms of what type of business they are classified as, how big
they are, what sort of business sector they belong to, the purpose of the business and the
ownership of the business. The contrasting businesses I will be writing about are Apple
Inc. and Jaan Sports Ltd. Also I will be describing the different stakeholders who
influences the purpose of the two contrasting business. Also will be describing the view
point of the different stakeholder who want to influences the two contrasting business
aims and objective of Apple Inc. and Jaan Sports Ltd.

Apple Inc. is a business that sells wide variety of products and services to their customers
like computer software (OS X and iOS operating systems), consumer electronic (smart
phone, computers, laptops ,iPod and the smart watch) and online services ( iTunes Store,
iOS App Store and Mac App Store, and iCloud).

Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne on April 1, 1976 to
produces personal computers. Apple is known manufacture of computer and software
development design and is manufactures them in the worldwide market. It’s a company
that manufactures, produces and sells hardware, programmer, media player, smart phone,
computer, laptop, tablets and recently even smart watches. It’s a business that sells their
products or services globally to 460 Apple stores in 17 different countries and online
services for 39 countries worldwide.

,Apple Inc. is a large scale business as it has 115 thousands workers all around the world.
They have annual revenue of 233.72 billion dollars for the year 2015 so far. Apple Inc. is
found both in the secondary business sector and the tertiary business sector. Apple Inc.
assembles their goods that they get from the primary sector and manufacture them into
products like phone and computers. They are also from the tertiary sector as they sell
products they produce both in stores and online. Apple also has excellent customers
service and they also make sure that the customers are satisfied with the products and
services. They provide this so the customers might come back and purchase other
products and services from their business.

The current purpose of Apple Inc. is to make and design the best personal computer,
laptops and software in the world and the purpose of the company's Apple Inc. existence.
The former founder purpose for Apple Inc. as a business was to use Apple as a tool to
help improve quality of mankind to help the advancement for mankind.

Apple Inc. is a PLC a public limited company. A public limited company is a company
that offer shares are available on the stock exchange market; this means anyone from the
public can purchase their shares. Also means that the company raises large capital so
there is no limit to number of shareholders investing in Apple Inc. They also have limited
liability so the identity of the business and owner are separate.

Jaan Sports Ltd has been in the trade of sportswear and clothing since 1995. The
company's first director was Mrs. Hijibul Khanam. Jaan Sport Ltd is wholesaler. They
sell leading brands such as Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Umbro, Puma, Timberland, Fila and
many other well-known brands. As they continue to push for the best service and range of
clothing, footwear and equipment possible, they are always keen to hear any feedback
from they’re customers. To Jaan Sports customer satisfaction is very important.

They sell their products locally. As they have shop they sell from. They are a small
business compared to the very large business like Apple Inc. They have around 3-5
employees. Jaan Sports Ltd currently has annual revenue of £272,908.

They are in Tertiary sector as they provide and sell their products and get the goods from
their suppliers. They sell both in stores and online. The purpose of this small business is
to make profit and survive as a business since it’s a small retailer.

It’s a private limited company as it (ltd) it’s a small business and an independent retailer
at the same time. Shares can’t trade on the stock exchange. However shares can be sold to
family member and friends alike so they can invest in the business. If the business fails
the investors lose their money but they don't lose their personal assets because of the
limited liability.
