M e t h o d
1. Measure the mass of the block using a mass balance
and record the result.
2. Wrap the block in foam to insulate it.
3. Place a thermometer and the heater into the block and
record the temperature.
4. Connect an Ammeter to the power supply.
5. Connect the power supply to the heater and turn it on at
10 V - as soon as you do this, start the timer.
6. Take readings of the current and the temperature every
minute for 10 minutes. The current should not change.
