, Subject teachers are responsible for the instruction of all pupils in their
classrooms first and foremost. They should make sure that their teachings are well
planned to address the various demands in the classroom. They may need to
change their teaching methods for some students who struggle with application,
motivation, communication, behavior, and peer interaction.

all students to participate meaningfully. These include
co-operative teaching and learning within mainstream classrooms
collaborative problem-solving activities
heterogeneous group work
differentiation
interventions to promote social and emotional competence
embedding of information and communications technology (ICT) in
teaching, learning and assessment

meet the variety of learning demands in any class. This can be achieved by
varying the level, structure, mode of instruction and pace of lessons to
meet individual needs
adapting lessons for students’ interests
matching tasks and processes to students’ abilities and needs
adapting and utilizing resources, including use of technology
