Subject: complaint concerning waiter Piet

, Dear Mr. Johnson,

Last Monday my family and I visited your restaurant called ‘Love At First Sight’. The food
was amazing, that’s not why I am writing you this letter. I also loved the name of the
restaurant at first but then something weird happened while my family and I were eating.

There was a waiter who asked for my phone number, and it was the way he did that
which is the weirdest part of all. While we were eating the lights got turned off. Everyone
was surprised and looked around what was going to happen. Then the waiter named Piet
was standing on the bar and he was under the spotlight. He sang a song about how
beautiful I was and eventually he asked for my phone number. I thought it was really
weird to do that in front of my whole family let alone the whole restaurant. He
embarrassed himself completely because the whole reason why we were having dinner
was because my girlfriend and I have been together for three years now. That is why he
ruined our anniversary dinner.

I hope that you will teach your employees to never do such a weird thing ever again
because as you read it can ruin someone’s dinner but also someone’s night. The food
was really amazing but I want a financial compensation. I hope you’ll understand my
point of view. I hope to hear from you within two weeks and if everything is fixed by then
we would love to come back.

Yours sincerely,

Anna Nas
