Certain individuals that are part of the group were given the task of completing
the Risk Assessment by identifying the risks and how to prevent these risks so
that everyone is safe inside the venue. They were also given the task of making
sure that the place where the event will take place is booked by negotiating
the plan and details to the people that have authorities of the venue.
Certain individuals that are part of the group were making sure that the place
where the event will take place is booked. If they had to make sure that the
visitors are known for their arrival and that nothing misleading doesn’t go
down with false identification.
Certain individuals that are part of the group were responsible for the visitors'
arrival and for the visitors’ to be directed to the venue as they had to
communicate with those who didn’t look like either a student or teacher
“Good morning, Sir/Ma'am, are you here for the breakfast event held at
8am?”. Some were in the role of greeting and communicating and the others
were directing the visitors to the venue of the event.
Contingency Plans that were put in place in case something happened
The contingency plan will be that if the weather is not suitable for the event to
take place, then the event will be scheduled for another time or day so that
anyone wouldn’t be soaking wet, uncomfortable, and insecure. This
Contingency Plan was not needed in place of the event as none of those
potential situations didn’t happen and therefore the original plan went down
smoothly without a Plan B which was the contingency planning.
Advert
The way the Advert was made was using the internet like using the Suffolk
New College website and social media to post a picture of the details of the

event so that people know where it is and when it is so that they are aware
and be able to attend the event. Promoting the event was important because
without people knowing the event, there won’t be many attendees and
therefore we will need to make some plan like the contingency plan but
spreading awareness.
Staging of the Event
The resources that were needed for the breakfast event were the food and
drinks, visitors and a suitable venue that fits perfectly for our chosen event.
The food and drinks were the main attraction because of the title of the event,
getting visitors was needed because without any visitors for the event, there
won’t be an event otherwise. The venue was needed so that it can see seen
and acknowledge that the event is being held at a good venue.
The Event Itself
The breakfast event was carried out correctly as the correct resources were
provided to the people, having the incorrect set of resources would’ve led to
negative thoughts. The event itself ran smoothly as there were no problems
incurred during the event. The positive of the event was that there were many
visitors that took interest in what was going on during the event, instead of not
taking any sort of interest in the event and not bothered at what's going on.
Attendance of the Event
The Attendance of the event was very decent as we had just the right amount
of visitors needed for our breakfast event. Although we didn’t have everyone
that were meant to attend the event, we still got a good amount of visitors as
this shows how much interest they have in our breakfast event overall.
Communication between each group members
The communication was effective in terms of everyone communicating with
each other as there weren't any types of disagreement or any type of conflicts
between any group members as we all were polite to each other and informed
each other what we are doing or about to do next. The chemistry in our group
was solid as we all were assigned a role to perform and follow instruction
given, which therefore led to a successful event.
Health and Safety
We made sure each visitor had good health and also if they have any sort of
medical problem that needs to be assessed and apprehended so that there is
no problem that doesn't become a danger to them as their health and safety
