In the process of project planning and implementation, there will be a need to
communicate with different stakeholders and senior management officials. This
communication should effectively achieve its intended purpose ( Sarhadi et al., 2018). The
current project is implementing a Bar Coded Medication Administration System (BCMA) to
prevent and reduce medication errors at the Organization. The planning and implementation
of this project will require that communication be made to different stakeholders, partners
and senior management officers at the organization. Just as there are five rights to medication
administration, there are five rights to effective communication. These five rights of
communication are; the right person, the right information, the right route, the right time and
the right dose. This brief post will compare and contrast communication to two persons in the
context of the five rights of effective communication.
Senior Director IT Tech Ops
The Senior Director of IT Tech Ops is usually in charge of Information Technology
Operations in the Organization. The Senior IT Tech Ops reports to the Senior Vice President
and the Chief Technology Officer. Communication to the Senior Director IT Tech Ops is
meant to inform him of the BCMA project and seek his advice and opinions. Vice President Quality and Education
The Vice President of Quality and education is responsible for ensuring quality in the
services offered at the organization. The BCMA project aims to improve the quality and
safety of care given to the patient. Communication to the Vice President Quality and
