Supervisors will hold crew’s accountable by monitoring their usage of all safety harnesses. Second, all supervisors will create safety meetings on a weekly basis. The meetings will cover the task of the week. The supervisor will use visual aids and jobsite examples to increase safety awareness for all employees. Third, supervisors will improve their organization by creating an area that is secure for all required forms and logs. Supervisors will start the reporting process for all injuries immediately after the injury happens and the employee is taken care of. Fourth, supervisors will create an inventory system to keep track of all safety equipment and first aid kits. 7. The training program will be created externally. This will cost more than if the training was created internally but due to the lack of safety already in the workplace, an outside consultant will be beneficial. An outside consultant will be called in to assess the safety of all work sites and see where the company is lacking in their training and safety awareness. After deciding the companies needs, the consultant will create a training and safety program for the supervisors to learn. After learning the safety program, the supervisors will teach their crews the information. 8. A lecture and discussion would be the best style of training most suitable for showing the supervisors on how to establish effective safety meetings for their crews. A lecture and discussion style would be very similar to the crew’s weekly safety briefing. This method will also include the option to use visual aids to enhance the training. The visual aids could include pictures, videos, or stories from accidents or safety failures of past events from other companies in the same industry. Safety harness protection training would be most effective with an on-site training demonstration. This is a technical aspect of the safety program. This specific training needs every worker to fully understand it to prevent any injuries due to negligence or a lack of knowledge on how the safety harness works. An expert demonstrating proper methods on a mock roof with individual supervisors would ensure the best understanding of the training will help negate the potential for error when the supervisors pass the training on to their crews. 9. The proper location for holding these trainings will be at a company warehouse. For the lecture and discussion and office space with a projector and enough seating for everybody is vital. The trainer who is conducting these meetings can utilize the projector and share a PowerPoint presentation with the class. By using PowerPoint, the presenter can use multiple visual aids. Also, a company warehouse would be a proper venue for the safety harness protection training. A mock roof could be made in the space that a warehouse provides. All participants will be able to participate in a simulated course for better understanding of the training. 10. An outside safety expert should be the person to conduct the training with the help of the CEO of the company. An outside consultant can bring a new perspective to the group and share their expertise in safety training with the company. The CEO should participate in the training to show his staff that safety is a priority for him and to show the staff that they should take the trainings seriously
