o Botbalkjes + mergholter (met beenmerg in)
- Hier zijn de neusgaten gelegen

Regio respiratorius:
- Caudaal gelegen
- Tunica mucosa
o Lamina epithelialis
 = pseudomeerlagig cilindrisch gecilieerd epitheel met slijmbekercellen en
basale vervangcellen
 = respiratorisch epitheel (maar GEEN gasuitwisseling!)
 Cellen:
 Slijmbekercellen: bevat slijmprop
 Trilhaardragende cellen: cilindrische cellen met trilharen
 Basale vervangcellen: driehoekige cel, donkere kern, rust op het
basaal membraan
