Ethics and Valid
Using the assigned readings as a guide, answer the following question: How do we conduct research validly and ethically? This thread must be 400-600 words. It is important for research to be valid and conducted ethically. When trying to determine the validity of research the researcher is simply asking about the accuracy of the measure. There are steps to help researchers determine this. When we are trying a new recipe, steps have to be followed. This is also true in determining if the research that is being conducted is valid and ethical. According to Check & Schutt (2012) when similar results with different measures of the same variable are achieved researchers can be more confident in the validity of each measure. These measures are called levels of measurements. There are four levels of measurements. These levels are nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio. It is important to select measures that are likely to be reliable and valid.
