Introduction: Tick tock clocks are searching for a website to boost advertising and sales. As all companies have a
blog and everything goes online, you need a website to expand as a company and to be more accessible to potential
clients to whom you can't access without a site. Therefore I will be outlining the web architecture and components
which enable internet and web functionality. I will also explain the role of web architecture in website
communication. Lastly I will explain the role of TCP/IP protocol and how it links to application layer protocols.

P1 - Outline the web architecture and components which enable Internet and web functionality

Web Architecture

World Wide Web:
The WWW is an internet system that supports specifically formatted documents and users, they can easily switch
from one document to the next by clicking on it. The “www” is typed at the start of every website as it is the link
between the internet and different websites to further simplify it is like a car on the motor way, the internet is the
motor way and the WWW is the car, the car will drive to the drivers desired destination and the WWW will take the
user to their desired website. The WWW is also known as the world wide web. The internet is different to the WWW
as the Internet is a global data network that operates with binary encryption, which is a different phenomenon from
the WWW. The way the WWW is linked to Tick Tock Clocks is by using the "www" URL in the search engine. Search
engine examples include: chrome google, Firefox and internet. so without the use of "www" the website will not
load and people will not be able to get any information about tick tock clocks therefore there business will not be
successful online.
