– Cardinal points describe where one place is in relation to
another
North, South, East and West
■ You can use a grid to help locate places on a map
– These usually have lines of latitude and longitude
– These lines of longitude and latitude produce a grid and we
can find the place if we have this information
This is called co-oridnates
