• Elektrische veldlijnen = denkbeeldige lijnen waarlangs positieve lading in
elektrisch veld beweegt.(richting is altijd van de positieve lading af)
• Proeflading = klein geladen deeltje om eigenschappen van veld te bepalen.
Eigenschappen elektrische veldlijnen:
• Richting van elektrische kracht in bepaald punt wordt gegeven door raaklijn aan
veldlijn door dat punt.
• Richting van veldlijn is gelijk aan richting van kracht op positieve proeflading.
• Veldlijn loopt altijd van positieve lading af en/of naar negatieve lading toe.
• In tekening is dichtheid van veldlijnen maat voor sterkte van veld. Hoe dichter lijnen
bij elkaar, hoe groter elektrische kracht op proeflading.
• Elektrische veldlijnen snijden elkaar nooit.
• Veldlijnen staan loodrecht op geleiders.
Condensator = twee evenwijdige metalen platen die op een spanningsbron zijn
aangesloten.
• Homogeen veld = sterkte van het veld overal gelijk en heeft het overal dezelfde
richting.
Radiaal veld = veldlijnen gaan steeds verder van lading af, dichtheid wordt kleiner en
veldsterkte neemt af.
Lineaire versneller = wisselend elektrisch veld dat protonen in stappen versnelt.
Elektronvolt: 1,000 eV = 1,602·10⁻¹⁹ C (J)
Massa elektron = 9,109·10⁻³¹ kg
Massa proton = 1,67·10⁻²⁷ kg
Magnetisch veld = omgeving waarin magnetische kracht merkbaar is.
