(a) stress
(b) communication
(a) Stress is physical, mental or emotional strain that Is caused by demands or pressures
that are placed on you called stressors. Stressors are triggers that cause stress.
Stress is a response to circumstances or events of extreme change or challenge
which is hard to cope with.
(b) Communication is how people interact with one another either verbally or
physically. They do this by speaking and expressing their feeling or by body
language, such as their facial expressions and the way they are standing, which
reflect their emotions. Communication is vital in relationships as it is a way of
understanding how the other is feeling, their needs and their emotions. It is also a
way of expressing yourself, your beliefs and your attitudes in order to understand or
relate to each other and to avoid conflict. Communication is a way of connecting to
another person to get to know them better and build a stronger relationship. The
way in which people communicate reflect the type of person they are or how they
feel about that person.
1.2 Identify TWO types of stressors that learners are likely to experience in a post-school
