6.1 Kernsymptomen

2 kernsymptomen van een depressieve stoornis

1. Sombere stemming
- veel zwaarder en intenser dan gewoon verdriet
- met groter psychisch lijden en pijn dan gewoon verdriet
- toestand van verdoving : terugtrekken en in stilte verkommeren

2. Anhedonie
- Geen plezier meer ervaren in het leven


Een sombere stemming is kwalitatief en kwantitatief verschillend van verdriet

• Kwantitatief :
- Veel zwaarder verdriet
- Groter psychisch leiden en pijn

• Kwalitatief
- Verdriet als emotie
- intensifiëring van psychische functies : waarnemen, affect en herinnering

• remming of inhibitie
→ verdoving, verkramping
→ minder scherp waarnemen
→ kan zich weinig herinneren na depressieve periode


L’anesthésie douloureuse

• Emotioneel deficit
→ Verdoving van het geviel die pijnlijk en paradoxaal wordt ervaren
→ Besef van het niet meer in staat zijn om tot normale gevoelens te komen


Eerste tekenen dat een depressie opklaart

• Hebben van verdriet
• Opnieuw kunnen huilen
