ASSESSMENT 07:
SUSTAINABILITY?

There is no conclusion to this section. I'm not going to tell you that I know the solution. Or even
that I'm hopeful that anyone knows the solution. What I can tell you is that I believe that if we
are to have any hope of finding a solution, we are going to have to undergo a social
transformation on the kind of scale that our predecessors underwent when our societies moved
from hunter gatherer societies to agricultural ones, or when they moved from agricultural
societies to industrial ones. Major changes! And by major changes I don't mean a 4th industrial
revolution - that's just another industrial revolution.

But that is not really what this assessment is about. So what is it about then?

STEP 1
Set the scene
The high number of my ecological footprint it scares me , as i didnt even know how the earth is
suffering and getting destroyed.
STEP2

As i did a calculation of my ecological footprint it is as follows , 8.1 gha ecological footprint ,
14.3 carbon footprint CO2 emissions in tonnes per year while my carbon footprint in % of total
ecological footprint is 60.A higher footprint that is greater than 1.8 indicates unsustainability
and looking at my ecological footprint is high and even more than the greater 1.8 gha of the
unsustainable number that is stated on the ecological theory.
