Wat is visueel comfort = visueel comfort voor een persoon is die gemoedstoestand die
tevredenheid met de visuele omgeving uitdrukt.
B. Fotosynthese
Koolstofdioxide + water = glucose + zuurstof
• Fotosynthese = proces waarbij CO2 wordt omgezet in koolhydraten
• Planten zijn niet afhankelijk van andere organismen voor hun bestaan = autotroof
C. Fysiologische aspecten
1. Ruimte -tijdoriëntatie
Licht geeft een indicatie van ruimte en tijd
2. Circadiaan ritme (dag/nacht)
= het slaap waak ritme.
Licht is de regulator van ons bioritme
Een etmaal = de omwenteling van de aarde
3. Fotobiologische processen
o Cortisol
= het stress hormoon, zorgt ervoor dat de concentratie op peil staat
o Melatonine
= slaaphormoon, is afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid licht, duur van de
blootstelling en de spectrale samenstelling van licht.
o Vitamine D
Wordt geproduceerd onder invloed van UV-licht dat aanwezig is in het
zonnespectrum.
Vitamine D zorgt ervoor dat het lichaam calcium opneemt uit voedsel
4. HCL
= Human Centric Lighting, is een toepassing van kunstverlichting die is afgestemd op
het circadiaan ritme.
5. Myopie
= bijziendheid, een van de oorzaken hiervan is een gebrek aan zonlicht, daglicht heeft
een positief effect op de ontwikkeling van de ogen.
,6. Psychologische effecten
o Invloed van daglicht op ons gemoed
Als er minder zon schijnt dan heeft dit invloed op de gemoedstoestand, in
donkere perioden wordt dan meer depressie en vermoeidheid vast gesteld.
o SAD
Een te kort aan daglicht over een lange periode kan lijden tot SAD ( winterbleus)

B. Verschil spectrum en zonnespectrum
• Zonnespectrum = zichtbaar spectrum + kortgolvig UV licht en langgolvig infraroodlicht
• Zichtbaar spectrum = het gebied 380nm (violet, kortgolvig) – 780nm (rood, langgolvig)
van het elektromagnetisch spectrum is zichtbaar voor het menselijk oog.

• Reflectie = weerkaatsing van licht (vb: treed op bij daglicht lamellen die aan de
binnenkant van de raamopening zijn geplaatst)
Een lazerstraal valt na breking niet uiteen in regenboogkleuren omdat deze monochromatisch licht
uitstraalt.
