As technology progress, virtual learning environment (VLE) have become more prevalent feature that facilitate and offers innovative and improved education and learning experiences within the most courses in the higher education. According to Cassidy (2016), Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is a web-based system that facilitates online interaction, communication, collaboration, instructional content postings, and allows for feedback between instructor and students. In addition, VLE was originally developed for online distance education, however, in todays improved technology, VLE are more common as part of higher education ways of presenting important tool and materials that will help with students learning process. There are different types of virtual learning environment (VLE) including virtual simulation, edutainment, three-dimensional virtual environment or world, augmented-realty games (ARG’s), virtual reality devices. The VLE that I have experienced in my nursing education was the use of virtual simulation lab.
