Electronic Health Records (EHR) are common in most healthcare settings. According to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), as cited by Thurston (2014), just two decades ago less than 20% of out of hospital physicians used EHR’s while in 2013 more than two-thirds were using EHR’s (Thurston, 2014).
