PROJECT THREE CJ-205 ASHLEY MAURO Many of us believe that if we could take care of the problem of homelessness in LA and all around the world, of them being out on the streets is as simple as the police coming and ordering the homeless to pick up their things and leave. For the community plan to work there must be a strong trust and cooperation between the community of Los Angeles, the homeless population of Skid row and the police department that serves them both. The issue of public trust can come from either side in the community. The homeless do not trust police due to years of harassment and hassle trying to get them to comply with the then current laws and regulations. (SNHU, 2020) The distrust arises now from the years of harassment of the homeless by police, but we now need to take into consideration the political climate in which we operate in. It is easy to see that coming together in a way that is mutually acceptable to both the police department
