Comprehensive Immunology Notes: Leukocyte Circulation and Tissue Migration High-yield, structured study guide covering the multi-step recruitment cascade, adhesion molecules, lymphocyte recirculation, and egress mechanisms. Perfect for medical, pre-med, veterinary, and life sciences students preparing for exams or quick review. Key Topics Covered: General Concepts: Circulation, homing, and recruitment of leukocytes between blood, secondary lymphoid organs, and peripheral tissues. The Multi-Step Adhesion Cascade: Rolling (selectins), chemokine signaling, integrin activation, firm adhesion, and transendothelial migration (diapedesis). Adhesion Molecules: P-selectin, E-selectin, L-selectin, and integrins (LFA-1/ICAM-1, VLA-4/VCAM-1). Chemokines & Activation: CC and CXC families, chemokine receptor signaling, and chemotaxis. Inflammatory Cytokines: Role of TNF and IL-1 in endothelial activation. Lymphocyte Recirculation: High Endothelial Venules (HEVs), naïve T-cell entry via L-selectin/PNAd and CCR7/CCL19/CCL21 pathways. Egress Mechanism: Sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) and S1PR1 receptor regulation, and cellular retention during antigen recognition. Why choose these notes? Clear chronological outlines, structured step-by-step pathways, and high-yield comparison tables. Ideal for fast exam preparation and mastering complex immunological trafficking mechanisms

INMUNOLOGÍA — CLASE 3 by Bianca P
