TEST PAPER 2026\2027.
Describe a time when you helped someone exceed
A few of my team members were struggling with a specific investigation
task (roughly 50% of reworks that they had to complete were related to
this task, echoing the rest of the department). I proactively created a mini
learning session that I presented during a team meeting highlighting the
parts that were often missed or that I frequently received questions on.
Afterwards, my team's reworks related to this task dropped to about 20%
of their total reworks. My manager shared my slides with other teams.
Would you describe yourself as helpful?
Yes
Name a time you've been helpful.
I helped my manager by reviewing team members' work and coaching
them on areas of improvement.

workshop. I presented to my team on what I learned from the workshop
since I though it could bring value to the team.

It happens. I reassess the situation, determine next steps, and move

1. Perfectionist
I want all of my work to be the best and I am always wanting to optimize/
improve things further. When something is not perfect, I am prone to
being hard on myself. I've learned there's an important balance to keep
and I ensure that this quality is a plus and not a minus through
prioritization, time management, and turning any self-criticism into
lessons learned and actionable tasks.
2. High expectations
When delegating, I have found the work completed is not performed up to
the standards I have for work I complete, therefore I have been
disappointed. I've learned to adjust my leadership style to the person I am
delegating work to. Some individuals need more guidance, coaching, or
check ins to ensure they are on track and completing the task correctly.
By understanding individuals and their capabilities/strengths as well as
determining what coaching they need along the way, I've become more
comfortable delegating, can ensure the task is completed correctly, and
help a team member develop, resulting in wins all around.
3. Wanting to contribute to everything and learn about everything.
I try to stay mindful of this and always ensure that I can meet all of my
