INTRODUCTION
I believe that some of the most important lessons are not only learned from textbooks.
They are also learned through our experiences and interactions with other people.
My own experience as a learner has helped me understand the importance of feeling
accepted at school. A learner who is quiet may sometimes feel unnoticed. This can affect
how they participate in the classroom. It has shown me that learners need more than
academic support. They also need to feel valued and included.
Inclusive education aims to create classrooms where all learners can learn and
participate. Learners have different abilities, needs, backgrounds, and experiences.
Some learners may face barriers that are easy to notice. Other barriers may not be
visible.
Teachers have an important role in removing these barriers. They need to understand
their learners and use teaching approaches that support different needs. They should
also create a classroom where learners feel safe and respected.
Inclusive education is not only about allowing learners to attend the same school. It is
about making sure that they are included in learning and school activities. Learners
should have opportunities to participate and develop their abilities.
