, Service provision in Benoni, Gauteng
Benoni is a large town located on the border of Boksburg, Kempton Park and Brakpan
on the East Rand of Gauteng. I have lived in Rynfield Benoni for the last 5 years and
having an understanding about the service provision in my town is valuable. A detailed
study of Benoni will be discussed as well as mapping out all important features of
Benoni on a map. From this, it will be easier to conduce the level of service provision
available in Benoni as well as elements of service provision that are missing. Benoni, as
the case of many towns in Gauteng suffer from shortages of service provisions, which
will further be discussed during this study. Recommendations will be provided as to how
Ekurhuleni (the municipality body who controls service provision in Benoni) can improve
challenges faced by service provision bodies. This information will be valuable to
prospective buyers who are interested in living in Benoni as well as residents of the
town.
