The aims of my campaign is to raise awareness of …… and to make society aware of ……
Hopefully, my campaign will encourage people to report ……
Objective
To try and reach my aim, I’m going to design and place 25 posters around my local town and
locate 25 in popular public buildings. I will also be setting up a go fund me page which will
allow me to raise extra money to spend on merchandise, ideally raising £500. I will be
creating an Instagram post aiming for 1k likes and 500 shares, as well as a Facebook post
aiming for 800 likes and 200 comments. I will spend time designing merchandise such as ……
Justification
I have selected this crime because ……. (give reason and statistics on this crime)
Target audience
This campaign is mainly aimed at …… years old as this age group falls under being victims of
…… . this age range tend to use some form of social media and will be able to view what is
posted on here. My target audience are likely to wear and use this merchandise. Tote bags
are massively in fashion currently along with the stable item of a jumper. Mugs are often
used within all age ranges.
Methods and materials
I will be using the method of posters so that people who don’t use social media can view
about this type of crime and still have access on how to report it. It is also viewable for those
passing it; therefore, it will be placed in areas where my target audience is likely to go. I will
place them in popular buildings and public places which will explain the campaign and how
to report it. I will need a printer, access to a computer as well as Canva.
I will be using social media to help raise awareness to my target audience as they will most
likely be using this every day. As well as this it is free to post. The social media posts will give
statistics and try to raise awareness of this crime as well as how to report it. Using social
media allows others to share it around. For this, I will need a phone or computer and access
to a social media account.
I will be creating merchandise as a part of my campaign. This is so awareness can be spread
when others are wearing the merchandise, and it can be made suitable for the target
audience. I will add my logo and information onto the template so it can be printed and sold
so that it can promote advertisement. For this I will need a computer and access to Canva.
Finance
I will get a bursary from my college of £500 as well as a fundraising site where I will aim to
raise £500 to use towards my merchandise.
