By the end of this lesson, students will be able to identify and produce rhyming words with 80% accuracy and
minimal cueing.

Pencils Smartboard: The Smartboard is an interactive white board
“Cat in the Hat” Book that the teacher and students can use to identify different
Rhyming Pictures Boom Cards rhyming words.
Rhyming Worksheet
Boom Cards: Boom Cards are mini games or lessons that
students can interact with on the smartboard. Students will
take turns using the Smartboard pen to choose which of the
two words rhyme.
