the rebuilding of Europe under the Marshall Plan.
NATO (1949): This agreement bound the participating nations to act together for their common
defense, Any attack on any one of them, mutual defense, And all of this was coordinated with
the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
Korea War: This was the conflict over the future of the korean peninsula fought between 1950
and 1953 and the war ended in a stalemate.
