permission after reporting to training camp, he may be placed on the Club's
Reserve/Left Squad List. A Player placed on Reserve/Left Squad shall remain on the
Left Squad List for the remainder of the regular season and postseason and may not be
re-instated to the active list of the Club until the following season. If Player leaves
without permission, a Club cannot place the Player on Reserve/Left Squad unless the
Club issues a letter informing Player that he may be placed on Reserve/Left Squad if he
does not return to Club within five (5) days.

practice squad shall consist of the following players: (i) players who do not have an
Accrued Season of NFL experience; (ii) free agent players who were on the Active List
for fewer than nine (9) regular season games during their only Accrued Season(s); (iii) a
maximum of four (4) free agent players per Club who have earned no more than two (2)
Accrued Seasons, with those four (4) players to have no limitation as to the number of
games on the game day Active List in either of those seasons; and (iv) a maximum of
two free agent players per Club with no limitations as to their number of earned Accrued
Seasons; provided, however, that the NFL shall increase the maximum number of
players in category (iv) above from two players to four players for the 2022-30 League
Years.
✔✔Practice Squad Salary - ✔✔The fixed weekly salary amount for the 2021 League
Year Practice Squad Players is: (a) $9,200 for any Practice Squad Player within
categories (i), (ii) or (iii) above; and (b) $14,000 for Practice Squad Players within
category (iv) above The weekly salary amounts increase over the life of the CBA and
beginning in the 2022 League Year become negotiable within a stated range ONLY for
Practice Squad Players who fall within category (iv) above. A Player under contract to a
Club as a Practice Squad Player is completely free to sign a contract with any NFL Club
to play on their Active/Inactive List. A Player is deemed to have served on a practice
squad in a season if he has passed the Club's physical and been a member of the
Club's practice squad for at least six (6) regular season or postseason games during
that season. A bye week counts as a game provided that the player is not terminated
until after the regular season or postseason weekend in question. If a Player on the
practice squad of one Club (Club A) signs an NFL player contract with another Club
(Club B): (1) the Player shall receive three (3) weeks salary of his NFL contract even if
he is terminated by Club B prior to earning that amount, and (2) Club B is required to
count the Player on its 53-man Active/Inactive List of three games, even if he is
terminated.

maximum combination of two regular or postseason games in the same League Year
without having to terminate his Practice Squad contract
