CRW2602 Assignment 1 2026 - Distinction | Due August 2026 QUESTION: Ms Speedy, a 30-year old female cyclist, is deeply in love with Mr Muscles, a 17year old boy who has recently started cycling. Mr Muscles does not welcome the attention he receives from Ms Speedy but agrees to go cycling with Ms Speedy on a deserted dirt road close to a dam. Ms Speedy’s plan is to cycle with Mr Muscles to the dam and to then stop for a breather next to the dam. She plans to then force him to have a cold beer. Ms Speedy hopes that the beer will diminish Mr Muscle’s inhibitions and that he will then have consensual sexual intercourse with her. Upon their arrival at the dam, Ms Speedy and Mr Muscles dismount their bikes and Ms Speedy hands Mr Muscles a cold beer. She tells Mr Muscles that the beer “will relax him and allow her to demonstrate her love for him”. Mr Muscles dislikes alcohol but is forced by Ms Speedy to drink it, which he reluctantly does. After drinking the beer Mr Muscles decides to leave as quickly as possible and mounts his bike to leave. Ms Speedy is furious at Mr Muscles and therefore intentionally kicks the front wheel of Mr Muscle’s bike as a result of which Mr Muscles falls from his bike into the dam.
