Step 1: My chosen scenario is the use of media-cellphones, tablets, etc.
Step 2: My selected age group that I am interested in learning more about are 3-10 years.
Step 3: My scenario will apply to a middle class family.
Step 4: The home will be a single parent(father) home with one child and one additional
sibling.
Step 5: The type of issues present in my scenario would be schoolwork/homework issues and
behavioral issues.
Step 6: The possible sites of impact for addressing the scenario would be home, school, and
daycare(other family housing).
Step 7: Potential solutions to address the scenario would include a home plan, school
strategy, and a behavioral health plan.
Personal Information
John Doe is a 33 year old single father of two boys ages 5 and 10. Arch is 5 years old and
Trent is 10. The three of them live alone in a 2 level townhome with 3 bedrooms in which
they all have their own rooms. John works Monday- Friday on days from the time the
kids are in school until they are out. When the kids are out of school on summer break
they are at their grandmother's home as a form of daycare.
