Sometimes it makes sense to apply loop analysis to one part of a circuit
and nodal analysis to the remainder to generate a system of equations
that completely describe the circuit. Consider the network shown below.
Notice that the "input" part of the circuit is a single loop, and the "output"
part a single node-pair circuit. The dependent sources couple the input
and output. This circuit is very representative of circuits you would
encounter in more advanced electronics classes.

To analyze this circuit, you can treat the (2) unknowns as the loop current
in the input and the nodal voltage of the output.

Assume that the nodes are numbered as shown, resistances are
expressed in kilohms (equivalently conductances are expressed in
millisiemens), currents are expressed in milliamps, and voltages in volts.
