1.) I’m interested in this EXOS performance internship position because I’ve always had

an interest in sports medicine and the human body. It would also allow me to directly

apply the concepts I’ve learned both here at GCU and my job as a physical therapy

tech. The clientele is also diverse as I would be working with athletic youth, adults, and

even Furthermore, I would be working directly under some of the best athletic trainers,

physical therapists, and coaches that EXOS has to offer in Arizona. This internship

would get my foot in the world of human sports performance and offer me connections

and the experience needed to further my career.

2.) Day to day responsibilities may include participating in daily lectures and learning

sessions that are specifically catered to human performance in sports. I would also have

opportunities to develop programs for new clients. Due to the variety of clientele, some

days I may be working with younger kids, while other days I may have opportunities to

work with professional athletes. Overall, most of the time would consist of shadowing a

licensed EXOS team member where I will need to be actively observing and asking

questions in order to learn more firsthand information about how EXOS helps people

improve their health and performance. For example, I may be learning about strategies,

strength and conditioning, or group training.

3.) Due to my background, I have lots of experience with working in teams. I have

knowledge and discipline gained from a variety of sports that I myself have participated
