Instructions
First read the first three chapters of Peter Senge's The Fifth Discipline: The Art & Practice of the Learning
Organization. Read the chapters very carefully as there is no “preparatory quiz” that you can take prior to the
actual quiz itself. I recommend taking decent notes as you read through the chapter -- please see "A Word on
Active Reading" page in order to get some suggestions in this regard. This quiz has ten multiple choice questions
followed by twenty-five true/false questions; and you have 70 minutes to complete the quiz. There are no “trick”
questions per se but you do have to have assimilated the material in order to do well. Thus, spend quality time
reading! As you can see, doing well on the quizzes is crucial to your success in terms of the determination of
your final grade for this course. And do note that once the due date and time for the quiz expires, the quiz itself
will no longer be available -- and there is a no late work policy in this course. (PLEASE NOTE: The quiz
questions for this quiz, and the rest of the quizzes this semester, are taken directly out of the readings.)
Finally, just a quick word on the quizzes this semester. Please note that the answers to the quiz questions have
been checked, and then checked again. I am quite confident that the correct answers are in place. You are, of
course, entitled to “disagree” with our authors/sources this semester; but please note you are being quizzed on
what they said, not your interpretation, “reading,” or opinion of what they said.
There is certainly the possibility that quiz questions were not placed in Canvas properly; and if you think there is
an issue, then do contact me. However, if you do not answer a question correctly, then do consider going back to
the source you were being quizzed on and read further for more clarity.
