◉ What should be done on hearing the smoke alarm?
Answer: 1. Investigate for fire and smoke immediately (toilets).
2. If fire/smoke not present, silence the alarm by pressing the
"interrupt switch"/Horn Cancel Switch with a pen.
◉ What is the purpose of Crash Axe?
Answer: To cut through obstructions or lever off panels, in order to
gain access to the source of a fire.
◉ What is the duration of the Torch?
Answer: Dependent upon battery condition guaranteed:
-Minimum 30 minutes
-Maximum 4 hours
◉ What Precautions should we consider while using Water Glycol?
Answer: On initial discharge, force of extinguisher may scatter
burning loose materials. NEVER use on electrical fires.
,◉ What PDIs do we carry out on Water Glycol?
Answer: 1. Stowage
2. Quantity
3. Wire seal on handle is intact
4. Cartridge is visible in handle
◉ How are Main Doors locked?
Answer: To close the main door:
1. Depress the gust lock located on the door hinge.
2. Grasp the door assist handle and pull the door inwards.
3. Rotate the operating handle on the door towards the front of the
aircraft to lock.
◉ Why does the No.1 press „1" and „ENT" on the door entry access
panel after passengers have boarded and slides are armed?
Answer: To inform the FD that a/c is ready for pushing back
◉ When the L1 door is not available and to avoid the aircraft tipping
which door will be used and what would be the procedure?
Answer: L2
, ◉ If a seat row is partially occupied with a passenger only in the
aisle seat where can cabin crew stow the passenger baggage?
Answer: Standard cabin bag may be placed underneath window seat

Answer: Where a seat row is unoccupied, cabin bags including
standard cabin bag may be stowed underseat and may protrude

information not contained in the Safety Demonstration?
Answer: After the safety demonstration has been completed one CC
shall provide an individual briefing

Answer: Inform the SCP:
- On the location of the nearest suitable exit; and
- That mobility aids might noc be accessible in an emergency
evacuation
