Client Interview
1 minutes 19 seconds
Tell me the story of your stroke.
Yes, it was a year ago last November, yeah November. I came in
the house, I sat in a chair. I felt a little tired, I sat there. And I felt a
little weird. I kinda like dozed off in the chair and everything was
weird. I'm saying this is not me, and so I kinda like dozed off. I
remember my wife coming up to me and grabbing my hand, and
she said, Bob. I remember her, she's trying to lift up my hand, and
it went down, lift up my hand, and I remember her saying to me
that, to her son, Timmy, you gotta call 911, I think he just had a
stroke. And that was it. And the paramedics came in and I felt like a
mushroom. They laid me out, and I remember looking at them and
they're telling me what they're gonna do. That was it. They took
me, picked me up, put me on the bed and they wheeled me out. I
kind of like remembered, but I didn't care. And then that was it. I
remember them saying something, I don't quite remember. That
was it, I guess I came through.
4 minutes 8 seconds
Tell me about your hobbies.
I love working with wood. Everything, you name it, and I'll do it.
Recent, well I restored a chest, an old chest, an old beat-up chest.
And I surprised my wife with it. For downstairs, it was something
she wanted, and I kept on putting it aside, putting it aside. And I
fixed it up. I'll show you some pictures if you want. I restored it
and, I'm a, whatta you call it, a man of all trades. If she's gonna
take something and throw it away, I stop and I bring it downstairs,
and I fix it up. Sometimes. Why didn't you throw it away?

Do you feel you are making progress?
