This will help in ensuring accountability for the business. Suppliers of equipment -these include the refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, the insulation materials the solar panels and collectors, the cold rooms panels and the office equipment. 2.2 KEY RESOURCES The following resources will be needed to help in achieving the mission and vision of business; Refrigeration and air-conditioning components such as the evaporators, condensers, generators/compressors, absorbers, expansion valves, filters, refrigerants, temperature sensors and refrigerant pipes. Pipework Insulating materials and machine. Cold rooms insulated panels. Solar collectors and panels. Workshop machinery required for fabrication of the components. Local fresh produce markets in the country – most of the warehouses in these markets lack proper refrigeration and air conditionining facilities for highly perishable produce leading to high losses. The business is to provide a solution to this problem. Residents in hot areas such as Kisumu, Mombasa, Turkana- the business will offer affordable solar powered air conditioning services to buildings in these regions. 2.5 CHANNELS Direct sales method involving personal visits, mail order and online solicitation such as newsletters and email subscription. Virtual Service Distribution for example, a sales consultant will offer his services through a combination of phone, email, or video conferences that would make use of software available on cloud platforms. Agents or Referrals, this is to be achieved by having agents in different parts of the country to create awareness of the cold storage facilities offered by the business to the targeted customers.
